Resurfacing Coatings for Concrete

Chesterton’s resurfacing coatings combine fast-setting epoxy technology with tough reinforcement to restore, protect, and strengthen concrete in demanding industrial environments. Products like ARC EG‑1 and ARC EG‑1 FC are 100% solids epoxy grouts that bond to wet or dry concrete, fill deep voids up to 12", and support traffic within hours—making them ideal for quick, durable repairs.

High-build systems such as ARC 791 and ARC 988 use quartz or silica reinforcement to create chemically resistant, non-shrinking overlays typically applied at 6 mm thickness. These coatings are well-suited for containment areas, trenches, sumps, and process floors. With excellent adhesion and thermal/chemical resistance, they reduce the need for full concrete replacement, extend asset life, and minimize maintenance downtime.
