WSS

The Chesterton WSS is a fully integrated Plan 53P seal support system designed to maintain the proper barrier fluid level and pressure for dual mechanical seals while significantly reducing water consumption. It includes key components such as a pressure regulator, non-return valve, flow indicator, and vent valve, all pre-assembled for quick installation. Using thermosyphon circulation and internal pumping rings, the WSS supports seal reliability without relying on constant external water supply.

Constructed from durable 316 stainless steel and suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, the WSS offers dependable operation in environments where seal protection and water efficiency are critical. Optional instrumentation, such as pressure and flow switches, can be added to enhance monitoring and early fault detection, helping to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
