SES 100 Series
The Chesterton SES 100 Series is a high-performance cantilever spring energized seal designed for dynamic rotary and reciprocating applications, as well as static environments needing high deflection capabilities. Its U-shaped seal jacket and stainless steel V-shaped cantilever spring provide a strong sealing force for reliable performance in demanding conditions.
With an asymmetric seal profile featuring a robust dynamic lip and front angle, the SES 100 Series offers excellent leakage control and effective scraping, ideal for viscous media. The V-shaped spring applies tension at the leading edge, optimizing lip load and reducing friction. Made from fluoroplastic compounds and engineered plastics, the seal resists abrasion, chemicals, and gases, ensuring long service life in industrial uses.
