ARC I BX1

Chesterton ARC I BX1 is a high-performance, ceramic-reinforced epoxy composite designed to protect metal surfaces from severe sliding abrasion and impact. Its urethane-modified, amine-cured formulation offers exceptional impact resistance and high volumetric ceramic particle loading, making it ideal for equipment exposed to rapid vibration or coarse particle wear.

Applied by trowel or plastic applicator at a minimum thickness of 6 mm (1/4"), ARC I BX1 is suitable for use in hoppers, chutes, slurry pumps, pipe elbows, pneumatic conveyors, and pulverizers. It withstands dry temperatures up to 400°F (205°C) and wet conditions up to 205°F (95°C), with a tensile adhesion strength of 21.9 MPa. Each pre-measured kit includes mixing and application instructions, plus tools, and covers approximately 1.4 m² (15 ft²) at the recommended thickness.
