690 FG H1 Food-Grade Lubricant

Chesterton 690 FG is a clear, colorless, and odorless penetrating oil formulated for food, beverage, and pharmaceutical processing environments where incidental food contact may occur. Its high-purity formula meets FDA regulations and is NSF H1 registered for both bulk and aerosol use. With excellent capillary action, it penetrates tight spaces to lubricate chains, pistons, rollers, valves, and pneumatic equipment, helping reduce friction, wear, noise, and energy consumption.

Enhanced with extreme-pressure and anti-wear additives, 690 FG operates in temperatures from –9 °C to 120 °C and provides a high flash point of 171 °C. It forms a smooth, non-staining film that extends equipment life and lowers maintenance costs. Ideal for chain drives, mixers, pumps, and filling machines, it has been shown to significantly reduce chain pin wear in high-temperature applications.
