Chesterton 457 is a non-asbestos sheet gasket made from carbon fiber with a nitrile binder, designed for high-temperature and high-pressure applications. With a temperature rating up to 840°F (450°C) and pressure resistance up to 1,470 psi (100 bar), it performs reliably in demanding environments.
Ideal for sealing steam, water, oils, and hydrocarbons, 457 offers durability and long-term sealing performance. It is not recommended for use with chlorinated hydrocarbons, aromatic compounds, or ester ketones.
