27K Rod Seal

The Chesterton 27K Rod Seal is a high-performance, single-acting stacked V-ring set designed for hydraulic applications, particularly effective in systems with high-speed operation or rods and rams that have been mechanically damaged or scored. Unlike conventional stacked sets, the 27K features a positive rake design that ensures even loading across the seal, minimizing friction and extending service life. Its pressure-sensitive lip design adapts to varying pressures, maintaining optimal sealing force and reducing gland pressure.

Available in both split and solid configurations, the 27K is suitable for use in both new and worn equipment. It offers a maximum operating speed of 1.5 m/s and can withstand temperatures ranging from -30°C to 200°C.
