1730SC
Chesterton 1730SC combines a flexible silicone rubber core with heat-resistant PTFE-like thermoset fiber to provide durable sealing for rotating equipment. It’s ideal for mixers, agitators, blenders, and similar machinery, offering excellent leakage control with minimal gland adjustments.
Rated for temperatures up to 450°F (230°C) and pressures up to 400 psig (28 bar), it handles shaft movement and vibration well, with broad chemical compatibility (pH 2–12). This makes it a reliable, low-maintenance choice for general industrial applications.
