Chesterton 1730 is a high-performance PTFE packing designed for heavy-duty pumps, mixers, and agitators in harsh chemical or abrasive environments. Its multi-strand PTFE braid retains internal lubricants under pressure, delivering reliable sealing at temperatures up to 500 °F (260 °C) and across the full pH range.

With low friction, strong dimensional stability, and resistance to extrusion or hardening, 1730 ensures long service life and reduced maintenance—ideal for continuous industrial operations.
