1727 Multi-Lon

Chesterton 1727 Multi-Lon™ is a premium PTFE-based packing specifically engineered for pumps, mixers, and agitators that handle aggressive chemicals, abrasive slurries, and other challenging process fluids. Its tightly interlaced PTFE braid, embedded with advanced lubricants, resists hardening, glazing, and extrusion even under high pressures and elevated temperatures up to 500 °F (260 °C), while maintaining reliable sealing across the full pH range.

With its low friction properties, excellent dimensional stability, and consistent sealing performance, the 1727 packing helps minimize wear on equipment shafts and sleeves. It also reduces maintenance requirements, supports extended operational uptime, and enhances the overall efficiency of plant operations. Built for continuous industrial service, Chesterton 1727 provides long-term reliability and performance in demanding environments where chemical resistance and durability are essential.
