Built for Tough Slurry Service—No Flush Required

The Chesterton 170 Slurry Single Cartridge Seal is built for demanding slurry applications, offering reliable, flush-free performance in abrasive environments like mining, mineral processing, coal handling, and wastewater. Its compact cartridge design features a non-clog pressure plate and external coil springs, keeping solids out of the seal mechanism and extending service life without the need for continuous flush water.

Engineered for durability, the 170 handles shaft movement, abrasive wear, and high-solid content with ease. With balanced hydraulics, micro-polished seal faces, and wide application compatibility, it minimizes maintenance downtime while reducing water use and product dilution—making it a cost-effective solution for heavy-duty slurry sealing.
