16K Wear Ring Strips (Metric Sizes)
The Chesterton 16K wear ring strips are durable, split bearing bands designed to prevent metal-to-metal contact in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. Made from a reinforced thermoset polyester resin with synthetic fibers, these rings offer high compressive strength and excellent wear resistance. They help guide the piston and rod, reducing side loading and extending the life of both the seal and the cylinder.
These flexible strips are easy to install and can be cut to size for cylinders up to 1575 mm in diameter. With built-in lubricants to reduce friction and operating capability across a wide temperature range, the 16K wear rings are ideal for heavy-duty applications where strength, stability, and long service life are critical.
