Chesterton 1601 is a high-strength, wire-reinforced graphite packing designed for extreme valve service. It offers reliable sealing in high-temperature steam and chemical applications, with excellent resistance to pressure, corrosion, and wear.
Fire-safe and low-emission certified, 1601 is ideal for isolation and steam valves in power, oil and gas, and chemical industries. Treated to reduce stem friction and extend valve life, it’s easy to cut and install off the spool.
