17K Wear Ring Strips (Inch Sizes)
The Chesterton 17K wear ring strips are high-strength, split bearing bands designed for use in large hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders. Constructed from a composite polyester resin reinforced with synthetic fibers, these strips provide excellent compressive strength and built-in lubrication to reduce friction and wear. They effectively prevent metal-to-metal contact between moving components, improving alignment and extending the life of both seals and cylinders.
Available in continuous coil form, the 17K wear rings are easy to cut and install, fitting cylinders up to 62 inches in diameter without the need for re-machining. With a wide temperature tolerance and the ability to operate at speeds up to 1 meter per second, these wear rings are ideal for demanding applications where durability, stability, and long-term performance are critical.
